The Fridays Philosophy

NO BULLSHIT

At the heart of my coaching is a commitment to evidence based understanding of infant sleep, and support that is suited to your family.

I believe in making a change when things aren’t working because baby and toddler sleep is important and supports their wellbeing and development. The same goes for the parent(s). Often our best parent selves are when we’re well rested.

But as part of my no BS philosophy let me be loud and clear: change comes with tears. I am not saying you will have to leave your baby to cry, but no matter how gentle we (or any other sleep consultant) goes, if you want genuine change, tears are an almost guaranteed and very normal response to you doing something new and something the little one does not understand.

  • You can book and pay for your consultation all safely online. You will only be able to book with at least a week’s notice to allow you time to complete your child’s sleep diary and questionnaire.

  • Once your spot has been secured I will send you a detailed email with the next steps (completing a day sleep diary and questionnaire) including any templates you can use to make life easy :)

  • We will discuss in detail your sleep challenges and how we can achieve your sleep goals for your family. This will be chance for you to voice what you think will work best for your and ask any questions.

  • Once your diary and questionnaire are reviewed I will send you a bespoke plan of action and we will begin the support period.

    I will be on hand on WhatsApp for your chosen time period to answer any questions and help monitor your little one’s continued sleep to make appropriate tweaks to the initial plan to ensure we meet your goals.

    We’ll mostly be texting / voice noting, but I don’t mind jumping on 1-2 quick calls during our support period if you prefer!

  • Once our support period ends I will send you a handover note to prep you for any future scenarios or tricky situations such as starting daycare, travel, or simply as your little one gets older.

I’m not here to judge your day to day, I’m here to help improve it.

The demands of parents today are sky high - wanting a change in how you sleep to get some rest is bloody important and totally ok.

As new parents, you quickly learn that infant sleep is a bit of a lucky dip with a splash of every forum thread and well‑meaning aunt offering utterly conflicting (and let’s face it… often ridiculous) advice. Mix the sky‑high expectations of our culture with the relatively low support parents receive, and before long you’re running on just caffeine and pure willpower. With work demands, other dependents, or simply being exhausted… whatever your circumstances - I would love to help you make parenting slightly easier and more enjoyable.

SUPPORT FOR ALL

As much as your wee one will need support to get used to any changes we introduce, so will you. I’ll be a shoulder to lean on and a sounding board because parenting comes with tough days and that’s normal.

I will help you understand your little ones sleep needs, what’s normal, what can be improved and what to expect.

And should go without saying but Fridays is inclusive and friendly no matter how you identify, your skin colour or who you love.
